Biography

Reda Boudina (b. 1995, Meknès, Morocco) is a Moroccan artist based in Rabat who works in murals, painting, sculpture and installation. His subjects are brutalist architecture and the modernity of the postcolonial Moroccan city. He signs his murals RDS and builds three-dimensional lettering in the wildstyle tradition. His materials include acrylic and spray paint on canvas, plexiglass, wood and concrete.

He first saw graffiti as a child, from a railway bridge in Meknès, in works by the late Rabie El Addouni. Du graffiti au design (2020) applied the forms and gestures of graffiti to graphics and furniture. Modernités fugitives (2022) explored forms drawn from brutalist architecture. In 2023 he projected video mapping onto a wooden bas relief at Stereolux, Nantes. Silent Layers (2026) is a sculptural and sound installation on urban memory rooted in Meknès.

He studied applied arts in Meknès and graphic arts in Rabat, then graduated from the Institut National des Beaux-Arts, Tétouan (2019). He took part in the Rabat Biennale (2019) and the Jidar Rabat Street Art Festival (2015, 2025 and 2026). Group shows include L'Atelier de l'Observatoire, Casablanca (2021), and The Casablanca Art School (& Beyond), London (2024). In 2026 he received a Production Awards grant in visual arts from Culture Resource (Al-Mawred Al-Thaqafy). He shows with Comptoir des Mines Galerie, Marrakech.
