Moroccan artist Farid Belkahia was born in Marrakech on 15 November 1934 and died on 25 September 2014. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, the theatre institute in Prague and the Brera Academy in Milan, and directed the School of Fine Arts of Casablanca from 1962 to 1974.
