Biography
Nadine Sidani is a Lebanese painter and illustrator who studied fine arts at the Lebanese American University. She began as a painter, then moved into illustrating children's books, where she developed a collage style, before returning to painting in acrylic on canvas.
Her illustration includes Ana Oheb (I Love), written by Nabiha Mehaidli and published by Dar Al Hadaeq, which won the Etisalat Award for Arabic Children's Literature in 2009. Her paintings show bold figures in strong colour that hold dualities, such as strength and weakness, as in Diving into Thoughts and Harmony in Division (both 2023).
She exhibited at Rochane Art Gallery, Beirut, and with Lebanese American University alumni in 2000, and her paintings were shown at Virgin Megastore and at Mavens concept store, Beirut, in 2024. She took part in the Artists of Beirut collective exhibition at Arthaus, Beirut, in 2026.
