About
The Galerie Banque Populaire is an art gallery inside the Rabat headquarters of Banque Populaire de Rabat-Kénitra. The bank opened it on 26 January 2017 to promote art and young talent from the region. It is open to the bank's clients and to the public.
The programme covers photography, painting, sculpture and design, by established and younger artists. The first exhibition, Sur les rives du passé, showed photographs by Marcelin Flandrin from the Fondation Banque Populaire collection. Later shows include Rebel Spirit's Un poète dans la ville (2019) and Peinture au féminin (2021). A second Banque Populaire gallery opened in Oujda in 2022.
