About
L'Uzine is a venue for arts and culture in Aïn Sebaâ, an industrial district of Casablanca. The Touria and Abdelaziz Tazi Foundation founded it in 2014. The name is French for "the factory".
The programme includes concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, workshops, debates, dance and theatre. Each Ramadan the centre hosts Chbe3 Fen f' Ramdan, a season of art and culture. It has also hosted Cypher, a breakdancing competition organised by Yoriyas.
L'Uzine runs the Content Creation Academy, a training and job programme for young creatives from Casablanca aged 18 to 35. The Drosos Foundation supports it.
