About
Pg Art Gallery is a gallery in Maslak, in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul. Pırıl Güleşçi Arıkonmaz founded it in 1993 in Bebek. Its early programme included many exhibitions by established Turkish artists, and in later years it has turned to artists at the start of their careers.
The gallery moved from Bebek to Tophane in 2010. From the middle of the 2000s it has appeared at international art fairs, and it has built working partnerships with galleries abroad. In February 2021 it moved to its present address at Maslak Atatürk Oto Sanayi Sitesi.
Pg Pop Up, at No. 169 on the same street, opens by appointment. It began in 2018 as a converted workshop where art and design are shown together. Pg Online, launched in May 2020, hosts virtual exhibitions.
