Beirut, Lebanon, established 2018
A Mar Mikhael gallery for artists of the Middle East, with solo shows, touring group exhibitions and residencies.

About
Mission Art is a gallery on Armenia Street in Mar Mikhael, Beirut. Ghiath Machnok and Toufic El Zein founded it in 2018. Machnok trained as an architect and co-founded The Art House in Damascus before settling in Beirut in 2014. El Zein studied fine arts and art curating.
The programme mixes solo shows in the gallery with group exhibitions staged in other spaces, such as Let There Be Light and 7 Rooms 7 Artists. Mission Art also backs artists through residencies and studio space. Its roster centres on artists from the Middle East, including the Syrian painter Sabhan Adam and the sculptor Mustafa Ali.
