About
Loft Art Gallery was founded in Casablanca in 2009 by Myriem and Yasmine Berrada Sounni. It began by championing Moroccan contemporary artists and has since widened its programme to established and emerging artists from the Arab world, Africa and Europe, while keeping Morocco at its heart.
Alongside its Casablanca base, the gallery runs a space at 60 Boulevard El Mansour Eddahbi in Guéliz, Marrakech. It alternates monographic and group exhibitions, publishes research on Moroccan art history, shows at art fairs across three continents and works with museums internationally. In September 2026 it opened a new Casablanca space with the group exhibition Hamasāt al-Fajr.
