About
Galerie Cheriff Tabet is a commercial gallery opened in Beirut in 2017 by the collector Cheriff Tabet. It is located in the Saad Bitar Building at the intersection of Rue Abdel Wahab El Inglizi and Rue Doumani in Achrafieh, in a street-level space opened in 2023. The Art Loft, directly adjacent to the main gallery, hosts events and pop-ups for young and emerging artists.
The gallery shows Lebanese and international artists and has extended its programme to exhibitions in Paris. Its artists include Charbel Sader, Darwiche Chamaa, Emilio Trad, Hussein Hussein, Mireille Honein, Samir Tabet and Sundus Al Khalidy. It also publishes books, among them Le Liban sans retouche, a volume of Roland Sidawy's photographs made with Houda Kassatly.
