About
Art Scene Gallery was founded in 2016 by the artist and interior architect Rania Hammoud to support and show regional art from the Middle East. It began in Achrafieh as a printmaking studio and creative hub hosting workshops, and in 2022 moved to Gouraud Street in Gemmayzeh.
The gallery presents paintings, sculpture and design pieces by emerging and established artists, with a stated focus on emerging talent, and also works on the secondary market with modern and contemporary works from the region. Its roster of close to 60 artists from Lebanon and the wider region includes the Iraqi painter Riyad Ne'mah, and it has shown at MENART Fair in Paris (2023) and Art Cairo (2024).
