Press release
The Ever Living is a group exhibition at Al Qattara Arts Centre in Al Ain. It runs from 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2027. Rizq Art Gallery and Malak Al Ajou curated the show, which brings together eleven artists. Entry is free, and the centre is open daily from 9am to 8pm.
The exhibition treats life as a force that continues beyond living bodies. It follows this force as it passes through materials, surfaces and the spaces around them. Details that usually go unseen are given room to make themselves felt. Time gathers in objects, and meaning takes shape as they change. Visitors are asked to slow their pace and to look with care at their place in a larger world.
The artists are Sara Al Sulaimani, Afra Al Dhaheri, Maitha Al Omaira, Nujoom Alghanem, Shamsa Al Mansoori and Sabin Mudappathi. They are joined by Dina Nazmi Khorchid, Ghada Zhougbi, Priti Vadakkath, Akhil Mohan and Elizabeth Dorazio. Afra Al Dhaheri works across sculpture, painting, photography and installation. Nujoom Alghanem is a poet and film director as well as an artist. Dina Nazmi Khorchid makes woven textile works about memory and displacement.
Al Qattara Arts Centre opened in 2011 in what was once Bin Ati Al Darmaki House. The building was a traditional home with a mud brick tower. Its gallery shows work by Emirati and UAE-based artists. Its studios hold classes in painting, pottery, calligraphy, music and crafts.
