Borusan Contemporary presents Haunted, a collection exhibition curated by Dr Kumru Eren, at Perili Köşk in Rumelihisarı, Istanbul, from 19 September 2026 to 15 August 2027. Drawn from the Borusan Contemporary Art Collection, it gathers nine artists and studios across three floors of the building. The works include AI-generated moving images, light and kinetic installations, real-time digital pieces, video and a group of mixed-media works on paper.

The starting point is the riddle the Sphinx put to Oedipus on the road to Thebes, whose answer placed the human at the centre of Western thought. The exhibition text proposes that algorithms and artificial intelligence now ask that question again. With references to T.S. Eliot's Four Quartets and to Jacques Derrida's ghost as something yet to arrive, the show presents its works as presences in a building whose name means the Haunted Mansion.

Memo Akten, born in Istanbul, shows Dalgalar 2.0: Toprak (Waves 2.0: Terra), 2023, a moving image produced with custom software, machine learning and latent diffusion models. Rafael Lozano-Hemmer shows Flatsun, a disc of 60,000 red and yellow LEDs whose activity rises when a camera detects a viewer. His Wavefunction (Subsculpture 9), 2007, is made of chairs, motors and a computerised tracking system. Zimoun shows two works built from prepared dc-motors, one of them using paper bags and a shipping container on the sixth floor. Marco Brambilla's video Heaven's Gate, 2021, and Daniel Canogar's 250 K, 2011, made with recycled copper cable, are also on view. Kemal Önsoy's untitled works on paper from 1978 to 1988 sit beside pieces by DRIFT, Quayola and teamLab.

Haunted runs alongside Olivo Barbieri: Time Space Geometry. Borusan Contemporary opens on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 7pm, with last entry at 6pm. Free guided tours start at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm, and a digital audio guide accompanies the exhibition. Admission is 350 TL, or 100 TL reduced.
