Oddviz

Oddviz is an art collective founded in 2016 and based in Istanbul. The collective scans objects, façades and whole locations by photogrammetry and builds three-dimensional digital replicas of them. These appear as installations, videos and large archival prints, such as Manhattan IV (2024), a diasec print measuring 120 by 120 cm.

The collective has three members. Çağrı Taşkın is an architect who works on 3D modelling and visualisation. Serkan Kaptan studied engineering and environmental studies, and works across digital art, performance and political ecology. Erdal İnci is a painter who also works in photography and digital art. Gurur Gelen, known as Pullahs, composes the audio for the videos.

Oddviz showed Inventory at Art On Istanbul in 2018, a series that documents street objects, and Urban Artifacts there in 2025. A solo exhibition at the Goethe Institute in Istanbul followed in 2019. Group shows include Seager Gallery in London, Erimtan Archaeology and Arts Museum in Ankara and Istanbul Modern. Patina (2026), at Art On Istanbul, is a retrospective of its first ten years.
