The Complex of Arts occupies the Aisha Fahmy Palace in Zamalek, Cairo, and is run by the Fine Arts Sector of the Ministry of Culture. Press describes the palace as one of Cairo's notable heritage buildings, whose historic halls now serve as exhibition space.
The Fine Arts Sector uses the palace for survey and themed exhibitions drawn from state collections, such as Sourat Masr (Image of Egypt, 2026), which brought together works from eleven museums and sites run by the Sector.
