About

Art D'Égypte was founded in 2016 by the French-Egyptian curator Nadine Abdel Ghaffar and describes itself as "a privately owned multidisciplinary firm". It now operates as a sub-brand of Culturvator, a cultural platform that works with private and public entities, and has no permanent exhibition space of its own.

Its annual exhibitions have been staged at the Egyptian Museum (Eternal Light, 2017), Manial Palace (2018), Al-Muizz Street (Reimagined Narratives, 2019) and, since 2021, the Pyramids of Giza under the title Forever Is Now. It also runs the Cairo International Art District in Downtown Cairo, art consultancy and community programmes, and has operated under UNESCO patronage since 2019.
