About

Shiva Zahed Gallery is a commercial contemporary art space in Asmalı Mescit, Beyoğlu, Istanbul. Its programme centres on artists whose practices are shaped by Iranian points of view, from emerging names to figures with long careers.

The gallery opened in February 2026 with ECHOES, a two-person show of Shaqayeq Arabi and Fereydoun Ave. A solo presentation of Ahmad Rafi, Against Transparency, followed from May to September 2026.

From Istanbul the gallery sets out to bring Iranian, Turkish and international artists into conversation. It works with artists, curators and institutions over the long term, aiming to widen the audience for artists who have had little exposure abroad.
