Selma Feriani Gallery

Selma Feriani founded her gallery in London in 2009 and opened in Sidi Bou Saïd, Tunis, in 2013. Its mission is to seek out emerging and established contemporary artists from the MENA region and beyond and to support their long-term careers, while strengthening the art infrastructure of Tunisia and North Africa.

Since January 2024 the gallery has occupied a museum-standard building in La Goulette designed by the architect Chacha Atallah: 2,000 square metres with 800 square metres of exhibition space across three rooms, plus a library, bookshop and a garden for outdoor sculpture commissions. In 2021 it also opened L'Atelier by Selma Feriani, a residency and research space in Bhar Lazreg, Tunis.
