Elena Damiani

Peruvian artist Elena Damiani, who is based in Lima, was born there in 1979. Her practice harnesses images from the past to question how we understand the present, offering alternative readings of geological time, history and the human classification of evidence, with a particular focus on remote landscapes of the Americas.
