Hayy Arts, Hayy Jameel

Hayy Arts is the exhibition space run by Art Jameel that anchors Hayy Jameel, the multidisciplinary arts complex in Jeddah's residential Al Muhammadiyah district. It presents curated, museum-style shows featuring Saudi and international artists and designers, complemented by talks, performances, workshops and a film programme, and admission is free.

Hayy Jameel opened on 6 December 2021. Its three-storey building, designed by the architecture practice waiwai led by Wael Al Awar, also houses Hayy Cinema, described as the Kingdom's first independent audio-visual centre, alongside studios, a library, a rooftop terrace and a restaurant. The building has received an Honour Award for Exceptional Design from the American Institute of Architects Middle East chapter.
