About
Ferda Art Platform is a contemporary art gallery on the fifth floor of the Ralli Apartment on Maçka Caddesi, in the Teşvikiye quarter of Şişli, Istanbul. Ferda Dedeoğlu opened it in 2019. Its programme covers work in every medium, mostly by artists from Turkey. It aims to put them in touch with collectors and audiences in Turkey and beyond. The gallery says Fahrelnissa Zeid lived in the same building and held her first solo exhibitions there.
Its artists page lists fourteen names, including Hüseyin Aksoy, İnci Furni, Merve Şenel and Güneş Terkol. Some are established; for the emerging ones, the gallery also guides career planning. It helps place works in collections and has exhibited at Enter Art Fair in Copenhagen and Drawing Now Art Fair in Paris.
Its two exhibition spaces are the Main Hall and the Project Area. The programme mixes solo shows by gallery artists with Sketchbooks, Talks and the Collectors & Artists series, which pairs collectors with artists. In 2025 it showed Working Portraits by Güneş Terkol and InFormal by Şakir Gökçebağ. PRINT, a group show of 2024 to 2025, included Fahrelnissa Zeid, Joan Miró, Roy Lichtenstein and Georg Baselitz.
