Al Riwaq is a non-profit art space in Manama, founded in 1998 as a home for artists and creatives. It began as a modest commercial gallery and has grown into a campus dedicated to contemporary art and design.
Its programme combines exhibitions with education, public programming, artist residencies and studios, and cultural advisory work, with a particular commitment to contemporary and conceptual practices and to emerging artists in Bahrain.
