Beyti

Beyti is a solo exhibition by Hoda Baalbaki at Chaos Art Gallery, 14 Sursock Street, Achrafieh, Beirut, from 23 September to 14 October 2026. The opening reception takes place on Wednesday 23 September.

"In Beyti, Hoda Baalbaki turns her attention to the idea of home as a deeply personal space, shaped by memory, experience, and emotion," the gallery writes. "Through her expressive use of color and spontaneous compositions, she explores the comfort, complexity, and attachment associated with the places we call home." The works published by the gallery are mixed media on canvas, all dated 2026: My Father's Chair in the Orchard, 180 by 180 cm, A Memory of an Old Village, 80 by 80 cm, Red Flowers, 70 by 70 cm, and House with Surrounding Hills, 55 by 70 cm.

Hoda Baalbaki has taken part in solo and group exhibitions in Lebanon and the Middle East. Selections described her work in 2023 as exploring "the intersection of memory and imagination". Baalbaki showed with the gallery in its group exhibition So What?, from 4 to 24 July 2023.

Chaos Art Gallery was founded in 2022 by the collector Charbel Lahoud as a platform for Lebanese artists. Beyti is open Monday to Saturday, from 11am to 7pm.
