Latifa AlBokhari

Latifa AlBokhari (b. 1994, Saudi Arabia) is a Saudi artist who works across photography, installation and textile. She prints photographs on fabric such as velvet and silk, and her work deals with memory, nostalgia and what it means to belong.

Her series Sirti Mara (You're a Woman Now) was commissioned for Vantage Point 13 at Sharjah Art Foundation (2026). It records defining moments in the lives of women in the Gulf, such as wedding preparations, choosing jewellery, applying henna and doing their hair. The photographs, of women from her own community, are printed on velvet and set in walnut-coloured frames; one is shown as a reflection in a vanity mirror.

In 2025 she took part in the Misk Art Institute's Milan Residency Programme at Casa degli Artisti, Milan.
