Ameena Al Boinin

Ameena Al Boinin is a Qatari multidisciplinary artist who makes immersive installations and sculpture. Her works bring together personal narratives and cultural stories, and she approaches memory, place and identity through the materials she works with. Self-repair (2025) is a sculpture made of wood and textile threads.

She is one of seven Qatari artists in the Museum of Islamic Art's Ektashif programme. The artists travelled through Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara in Uzbekistan and took workshops in geometry, ornamentation, ceramics, miniature painting and embroidery. The work she made after the journey was shown in Ektashif: Uzbekistan, a group exhibition at the Museum of Islamic Art, Doha, in 2026.
