Aisha Al Muhannadi

Aisha Al Muhannadi is a Qatari visual artist whose work deals with identity, memory and belonging, and with the heritage and environment of Qatar. She holds a bachelor's degree in Policy, Planning and Development from Qatar University, and she founded and directs Mahara for Creativity and Arts.

She is one of seven Qatari artists in the Museum of Islamic Art's Ektashif programme. The artists travelled through Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara in Uzbekistan and took workshops in geometry, ornamentation, ceramics, miniature painting and embroidery. The work she made after the journey was shown in Ektashif: Uzbekistan, a group exhibition at the Museum of Islamic Art, Doha, in 2026.
