A non-profit art and interaction space in Sultanbeyli, Istanbul, with exhibitions, talks and learning programmes.
About
YUNT is a non-profit space for art and interaction in Sultanbeyli, Istanbul. Its founding director is Muratcan Sabuncu, with Sergen Şehitoğlu as art director. Its first exhibition, Şehir Nerede?, curated by Emre Zeytinoğlu, looked at present-day Istanbul and closed on 4 February 2024.
YUNT sets out to give more people the chance to meet art where they live. Besides exhibitions and events it runs a learning programme, supports publications and funds new work through an incentive policy. Prof. Dr. Eva Şarlak advises on its seminars and talks.
In 2025 and 2026 it hosted VarYok, a three-part programme on public space curated by Merve Elveren and Meriç Öner, which ended on 16 August 2026. Participants included Gürbey Hiz, Emre Hüner, Metehan Özcan, Mona Mahall, Aslı Serbest, Deniz Tortum and Efe Murad.
