Nuhad Es-Said Pavilion for Culture

The Nuhad Es-Said Pavilion for Culture is an exhibition and events space set within the grounds of the National Museum of Beirut in Mathaf. The pavilion describes itself as "a living extension of the Museum". It was made possible by the Nuhad Es-Said family, the National Heritage Foundation led by Mouna Haraoui and a group of donors, and the building was designed by Raëd Abillama Architects as a polyvalent space for exhibitions and cultural functions. It is run by a founding committee chaired by Lama Salam.

Its programme runs all year and is free or low cost, with exhibitions, talks, guided tours and education programmes for schools and universities. Recent exhibitions include From Venice to Beirut: The World in the Image of Man (2025 to 2026) and From Venice to Beirut: The Land Remembers (2026), followed by Echoes of Existence, which pairs Enzo Cucchi and Gilbert Halaby with Lebanese modern painters. Proceeds from the pavilion go towards its programme and the long-term preservation of the National Museum of Beirut.
