About

Msheireb Museums occupies four restored heritage houses in Msheireb Downtown Doha, the rebuilt historic commercial quarter of the capital. Msheireb Properties opened it in October 2015 as the flagship of the district's regeneration. Its general manager is Abdulla Khalid Al Naama.

Each house takes its own subject. Bin Jelmood House traces the history of slavery and its abolition. Company House, once the base of Qatar's first oil company, tells the story of the Qatari men who worked in the industry. Radwani House, built in the 1920s, shows how family life changed, and Mohammed Bin Jassim House follows the district from past to future.

Beside these displays the museums give space to Qatari artists. In summer 2026 Bin Jelmood House showed Sawaed, a group exhibition built on the Company House story. With al markhiya gallery, the museums also presented Between The Architectures, paintings and sculptures by Mubarak Al Thani, at Mohammed Bin Jassim House. Entry is free.
