Doha, Qatar, established 2019
A free museum of journalism and media at Northwestern University in Qatar, in Education City, Doha.

About
Media Majlis Museum is a museum devoted to journalism, communication and media. It sits inside Northwestern University in Qatar, in Education City, Doha. It opened in 2019 and calls itself the first university museum of its kind in the Arab world. Alfredo Cramerotti is its director.
Through exhibitions, publications and public programmes, the museum asks how media shapes society. Its online collection holds interviews, talks, documentaries and publications. In spring 2026 it showed What's Between, Between?, which started from Gulf Futurism and brought together loans, commissions and digital work by more than 20 Gulf artists.
Its autumn 2026 exhibition, All That Is Unseen, is an immersive show by the London collective Marshmallow Laser Feast, made with ACMI in Melbourne. Entry is free, and all exhibitions and programmes are bilingual.
