M7

M7 is a hub for fashion, design and technology in Msheireb Downtown Doha, set up by Qatar Museums under its chairperson, Sheikha Al Mayassa. It opened in November 2021 with Christian Dior Designer of Dreams as its first major exhibition.

The building combines exhibition galleries with incubation programmes, co-working and learning spaces, talks and events for designers starting businesses. Its exhibitions have included Forever Valentino, Masterpieces of Furniture Design with the Vitra Design Museum and Ellsworth Kelly at 100. In autumn 2026 it presents ERDEM: About Time, About Her and Around the World in Jewellery.

Resident partners such as Scale 7, Fromm and The Cutting Studio work from the building. M7 also houses Studio 7, a concept store for regional design, and the café Profiles.
