About

İş Sanat is the culture and arts arm of Türkiye İş Bankası. Its main art venue is the Türkiye İş Bankası Resim Heykel Müzesi on İstiklal Caddesi in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, which opened on 29 October 2023. İş Sanat also runs Kibele Sanat Galerisi in Levent and Ankara Sanat Galerisi.

The museum occupies the historic Baudouy Apartment, the bank's Beyoğlu branch from 1953 to 2016. Its permanent display, Türk Resmini İzlemek, curated by Gül İrepoğlu, traces Turkish painting and sculpture from the late 19th century onwards. It draws on the bank's collection of more than 2,800 works by over 1,000 artists, begun in 1940. Two floors hold temporary shows, including 1914 Kuşağı: Tanıdığımız Ressamlar until 12 July 2027.

Kibele Sanat Galerisi opened in the İş Kuleleri towers in 2001 with an exhibition of Ivan Aivazovsky. It stages retrospectives of major Turkish artists, each with a full catalogue; the 2026 show was devoted to Ayla Turan.
