Fondation Montresso
Marrakech, Morocco
Art foundation with an artist residency and three exhibition spaces near Marrakech.

About
The Fondation Montresso is a foundation for contemporary art on the route de Fès, about 35 minutes from the centre of Marrakech. It was founded by Jean Louis Haguenauer and has been active in Marrakech since 2009. It supports artists through the Jardin Rouge residency, its exhibitions and an educational and cultural programme.
Jardin Rouge hosts national and international visual artists around the theme of Territories. Residents receive time for research, help with production and guidance from the foundation's technical and artistic teams. The foundation holds about fifteen exhibitions a year in three spaces: the Espace d'art Montresso*, the Galerie des résidents and the Salle des casques.
Visits take in the exhibition spaces, works made on site and a sculpture garden, always by appointment and with a cultural mediator. The foundation also takes projects to biennials and fairs, including Dakar, Art Paris, 1-54 and AKAA. It works with the Musée Mohammed VI d'Art Moderne et Contemporain, the Fondation CDG and the Fondation TGCC.
