About
The LT Gallery is a contemporary art gallery on Armenia Street in Mar Mikhael, Beirut. It shows work by established and emerging artists and pairs its physical space with an online gallery. Its stated aim is to bring visitors of all ages and backgrounds closer to contemporary art in Lebanon through exhibitions and interactive formats.
Its stock includes small-format works by Lebanese artists, which buyers can group into compositions of their own, as well as medium and large pieces. The roster lists sixteen artists, among them Charles Khoury, Semaan Khawam, Mazen Khaddaj, Annie Kurkdjian, Tatiana Boulos and Taher Jaoui. The gallery also works with galleries abroad and its projects have included exchanges between French, Lebanese and African artists.
The space is multipurpose. Its main room serves as an exhibition platform that artists can also rent for their own shows and installations. At the back is a bar and coffee shop serving single malt whisky and speciality coffee. The gallery's website carries a podcasts section and an exhibition archive that goes back to 2021.
