Nurol Sanat Galerisi
Ankara, Turkey, established 2002
An art gallery in Kavaklıdere, Ankara, showing Turkish painting, sculpture and photography since 2002.

About
Nurol Sanat Galerisi opened in Ankara in April 2002 within the Nurol Eğitim Kültür ve Spor Vakfı, and its first exhibition was devoted to Nuri İyem. The gallery sells work to collectors, and its income goes towards the foundation's scholarship fund for students. Its exhibition room in Kavaklıdere covers 120 square metres.
The programme runs to about eight exhibitions a season and places established names of Turkish painting and sculpture next to younger artists. Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, Mehmet Güleryüz, Turan Erol and Bedri Baykam are among those it has shown, and selected work by fine art students also gets a place. Talks, small concerts, book signings and workshops take place alongside the shows, and painting sessions run under the name Nurolatölye. The gallery has published books on Mehmet Güleryüz and Bihrat Mavitan as well as exhibition catalogues.
With the Ministry of Foreign Affairs it has organised exhibitions abroad, of Adnan Turani in New York and Işıl Özışık in Taiwan. It has also taken part in the Florence Biennale. A second space, Nurol Sanat Bodrum, operates in the Oasis shopping and culture centre in Bodrum.
