Hunna Art
Kuwait City, Kuwait, established 2021
A Kuwait City gallery for women artists of the Arabian Peninsula and the wider Arab world.

About
Hunna Art is a contemporary art gallery founded by Océane Sailly in 2021. It works with women artists of a younger generation from the Arabian Peninsula and the wider Arab world. The gallery was set up to answer how rarely such artists were shown, at home or abroad, and its artists deal with gender, power, history and cultural identity.
For its first three years the gallery had no fixed address and worked online and through shows in other venues. In October 2024 it opened a permanent space on the mezzanine of the Design Center in Shuwaikh Industrial, with Gentle Porosities, a solo show by the Bahraini artist Mashael Alsaie. Its 2025 and 2026 programme included sweltering drive by the Kuwaiti artist Razan AlSarraf and Girl Parts by Aliyah Alawadhi. Under Her Wing, a group show made with Emergeast, followed.
The gallery takes part in art fairs such as Art Dubai, Abu Dhabi Art, Art Paris, 1-54 and Cape Town Art Fair. It commissions essays and produces artists' books, and in 2026 published the first monograph on Alymamah Rashed with Skira. It also sells numbered limited edition prints by the artists it represents.
