About
Isabelle van den Eynde opened her first gallery, B21, in Dubai's Al Quoz industrial district in 2006, one of the first contemporary art spaces in the UAE, dedicated to artists from the Middle East, North Africa and beyond. In 2010 she founded her eponymous gallery on Alserkal Avenue, now known as Gallery Isabelle.
The gallery presents challenging and innovative contemporary work by a pluralistic roster that includes the Emirati pioneers Hassan Sharif and Mohammed Kazem, Latif Al Ani, Lubna Chowdhary, Fereydoun Ave, Hoda Tawakol, Abdelkader Benchamma and the younger Emirati artist Alia Zaal. It is a regular exhibitor at Art Dubai and Abu Dhabi Art, and presented a Hassan Sharif solo at Art Basel Qatar in 2026.
