About
Galerie Noir sur Blanc is a commercial gallery in central Guéliz, Marrakech. It occupies the first floor of the Adam Plaza building at 48 rue de Yougoslavie.
The gallery opened to the public in March 2007 with Mémoire de Cire. The show of recent work by Mahi Binebine ran from 18 March to 14 April. When it opened, the gallery said it wanted Moroccan artists of all styles to reach the general public, with foreign artists also welcome. It planned to bring visitors together with visual artists, writers and other creators.
In 2016 the gallery was holding regular shows of painters from Marrakech and beyond, and taking part in international fairs. A show of small, affordable works from December 2016 to January 2017 included Tibari Kantour, Mohamed Mourabiti, Rachid Bakkar and Florence Arnold. In summer 2026 the group exhibition Entre deux lumières, from 30 June to 9 July, combined painting, sculpture and contemporary work.
