Ekavart Gallery
Istanbul, Turkey
Non-profit foundation gallery in Gümüşsuyu whose proceeds fund art scholarships
About
Ekavart Gallery is the non-profit exhibition space of EKAV, the Education, Culture and Research Foundation. It sits at the Süzer Plaza entrance beneath The Ritz-Carlton hotel in Gümüşsuyu, Istanbul. It operates on donation receipts, and income from its events goes to foundation scholars studying art.
Its programme combines solo and group shows by senior and younger Turkish painters with seminars, book signings, workshops and recitals. Artists it has shown include Fahrelnissa Zeid, Ergin İnan, Balkan Naci İslimyeli, Nezih Çavuşoğlu, Ardan Özmenoğlu and Genco Gülan.
Recurring series give the calendar its shape. Summer Love reached its ninth edition in 2026 with Blue Dreams, and EKAV-ARTİST New Generation reached its tenth in 2025.
