Août Gallery

Août Gallery is a contemporary art gallery and platform in Beirut founded by Zeid El Amine, a graduate in business and fine arts from the Lebanese American University. The gallery says it was "born out of a need for more cultural and artistic spaces in Beirut" and was founded as a homage to his father, who died in the 4 August 2020 port explosion. It opened in Gemmayzeh and now also lists a space at 119 Rue Pharaon in Mar Mikhael.

The gallery "draws on international artists, with the aim of establishing a global reach", and its programme focuses on emerging contemporary painters. Exhibitions listed on its site include Sittin' on Top of the World, Utopia, Rare Candy, Blooming in Light and Genuine Rhythm, and it has taken part in the UVNT Art Fair.
