Luxor International Painting Symposium: Selections from 18 Editions is a group exhibition at the Fustat Center for Creativity and Traditional Crafts in Cairo. It opened on 9 September 2026.

The exhibition shows about ninety works selected from the eighteen previous editions of the symposium. The commissioner of the nineteenth edition, Mohamed El Banawy, said the selection was needed because there were too many works to show them all. He said some works show the presence of foreign artists in Luxor and the influence of Egyptian history on them.

The symposium has brought Egyptian artists together with artists from many countries. According to El Banawy, each edition includes about ten Egyptian artists. He said the symposium began about eighteen years ago through Ibrahim Ghazala and the then minister Farouk Hosny. Ghazala was honoured at the launch as the symposium's founder.

The Cultural Development Fund, headed by Hamdy El Sotouhy, organised the exhibition to launch the nineteenth edition of the symposium. The launch also opened the centre's new building and its two exhibition halls. El Banawy said the new edition begins on 22 November 2026.
