Echoes of the Earth (Yeryüzü Yankıları) is a group exhibition at the Odunpazarı Modern Museum (OMM) in Eskişehir, on view from 26 September 2026 to 12 September 2027. Defne Casaretto is the curator. The show gathers more than 70 works by 47 artists of several generations, spread over three floors of the museum. Its media range across painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, textiles and video installation. ETİ is the main supporter.

The exhibition looks at the stories people have told and how they change as they pass down through time. It traces them from marks left on cave walls to spoken tales, myths and written texts. Some images and stories survive the journey, some fall away, and some are rebuilt each time they are met again. Figures, symbols and images from many periods and places are grouped around nature, history and mythology. The hang does not follow a timeline, so the narrative stays open and shifts from room to room.

OMM's press images show the range of the selection. Erol Akyavaş's Kartaca Yıkılmalı (Delenda Est Carthago, 1981) is an oil on canvas more than four metres long from the Erol Tabanca Collection. Hüseyin Aksoy paints with walnut ink and earth pigment on canvas and paper. Lal Batman's Uzak Bakışların Fısıltısı (2024) combines ink, acrylic, artificial gemstones and pearls. Massimo Listri's 2011 photograph of the Villa Astor in Sorrento is printed on aluminium dibond at 150 by 201 cm. Guido Casaretto shows Crossing Carnevale (2019), a twelve minute video.

Among the artists is Burçak Bingöl, born in Görele in 1976 and based in Istanbul, who works mostly in ceramics, photography and drawing. The list also includes Alev Ebüzziya Siesbye, Belkıs Balpınar, Hüsamettin Koçan, Selma Gürbüz, Canan Tolon, Murat Morova, Serkan Özkaya, Tayfun Erdoğmuş, Imran Qureshi, Tavares Strachan and Zoë Paul. The museum closes on Mondays. General admission is 250 TL, with reduced tickets at 180 TL and free entry for children under 12.
