Ziad Dalloul

Ziad Dalloul graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus in 1977 and later studied at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. His practice moved from abstract etchings in the 1990s to oil paintings where domestic interiors dissolve into landscape, often drawing on memories of a Syrian childhood, and he has collaborated on books with the poet Adonis.
