Born in Chinsurah, West Bengal, in 1981, Sohrab Hura is a self-taught photographer who began taking pictures while studying for a master's degree in economics at the Delhi School of Economics. He joined Magnum Photos as a nominee in 2014 and became a full member in 2020.
