Safeya Binzagr

Born in the Harat Al-Sham quarter of old Jeddah and schooled in Cairo, Safeya Binzagr trained in drawing and printmaking at Saint Martins in London. Across paintings, watercolours and etchings she documented traditional Hijazi life, costume and architecture.
